DAY 01 - NEGAMBO

Negombo is situated in west coast of Sri Lanka. The wide sandy beaches and the safe sea are the main attractions of Negombo. And it’s in close proximity to the Bandaranaike International Airport. A boat trip winding through the lush mangroves down the Dutch Canal or Muthurajawela Marsh will reward you with sightings of monitor lizards and flocks of migrant birds

DAY 02 - COLOMBO

Colombo is the capital city of Sri Lanka. Its Situated on the west coast of the island, Colombo is a principal port of the Indian ocean. It has one of the largest artificial harbors in the world and handles the majority of Sri Lanka’s foreign trade. Colombo is the country’s biggest city, as well as the most developed. The heritage is reflected in its architecture, mixing colonial buildings with high-rises and shopping malls.

DAY 03 - DAMBULLA & MINNERIYA

Dambulla Cave Temple
Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country is 72 Km north of Kandy. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. There is a total of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses

Minneriya National Park
Being part of the elephant corridor, which joins up with Kaudulla and Wasgomuwa parks, Mineriya National Park gives the opportunity to see herds of Elephants throughout the year it is the largest known meeting place of Asian Elephants in the world. During this period herds up to 300 elephants are seen at the 8,890-hectare park. In the afternoon jeep safari through National Park people can also see, deer, peacocks, boars, and many kinds of birds other than Elephants

DAY 04 - SIGIRIYA & PIDURANGALA

SIGIRIYA
Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located in the Matale District The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high. Sigiriya is treated as one of the most remarkable creations in the world, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). Path through the gardens along Stone stairways come to the Lion Gate. Only the rock carving and the brick structure is evident today of the lion’s mouth through which millions of people have walked to admire the beauty of this magnificent citadel.The capital and the royal palace were abandoned after the king’s death. It was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning.

DAY 05 - KANDY

Kandy is a major city and a world heritage site in Sri Lanka located in the Central Province. This was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the central province and the second largest city in the country after Colombo.

City Tour Kandy
Today Kandy offers its visitors rich collection of art and craft and historical buildings. It includes a collection of ancient temples buildings, handicrafts, souvenirs, bazaar and gem museum. Witness a cultural show in the evening with Kandyan dance encompasses various dance forms native to the central hills region in Sri Lanka today it has been widespread to other parts of the country.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya
Located 5.5 km from the west of the city Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres.

Nalanda Gedige – Ancient Stone Temple
This temple is an mix of hindu and buddhist architecture and it was constructed in between 08th and 10th  BC.

DAY 06 - KANDY

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri Dalada Maligawa is a Buddhist temple located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage setup especially for abandoned and injured elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 miles) northwest of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Its success and fame have travelled not just within the country but throughout the world. Currently being a home to 93 elephants. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2015. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see Elephants close-up.

DAY 07 - NUWARA ELIYA & ELLA

Nuwaraeliya
The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but it is really just like an English spring day, although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.

Ramboda Falls
Ramboda Falls is 109m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945m above sea level. Tea Factory & Tea Plantation.

DAY 08 - ELLA

Little Adam’s Peak
It is 1141 m in Views from the summit are incredible. 360 degrees panoramic views with clouds rolling in, is a treat to watch for any traveler. Hike itself is a worthy experience as you walk through lush green tea estates, talking to locals who are plucking and collecting tea leaves, working in the estate.

Nine Arch Bridge
The glorious Nine Arch Bridge between Ella and Demodara station is one of the engineering marvels in the early 20th century. This bridge, which is almost 100 years old, has been built with blocks of stone and cement without any strengthening iron or concrete. The giant arches take the bridge on a curved path to link to mountains. The Bridge was commissioned in 1921 under the British Government

DAY 09 - yala

Yala National Park
Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean. It is situated in the southeast region of the country, and lies in Southern Province and UVA Province. The park covers 979 square kilometers (378 sq mi) and is located about 300 kilometers (190 mi) from Colombo.The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds. Yala harbors 215 bird species including six endemic species of Sri Lanka. The number of mammals that has been recorded from the park is 44, and it has one of the highest leopard densities in the world

Situated 151km from Colombo, Mirissa is one of the main beach destinations in southern Sri Lanka. Mirissa is a perfect place to soak up sun for a day or two and its one of the best places in the world to spot blue whales.

Galle Fort
Galle is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip.

DAY 13 - Bentota

Bentota
Situated 85km from Colombo, Bentota has Safe swimming conditions combined with fun water sports such as jet-ski, windsurf, parasail or enjoy a romantic river safari on the river and lagoon. There are some fine beachside hotels, which also have swimming pools, as well as guest houses to suit all budgets.
