DAY 01 - colombo
Colombo is the capital city of Sri Lanka. Its Situated on the west coast of the island, Colombo is a principal port of the Indian ocean. It has one of the largest artificial harbors in the world and handles the majority of Sri Lanka’s foreign trade. Colombo is the country’s biggest city, as well as the most developed. The heritage is reflected in its architecture, mixing colonial buildings with high-rises and shopping malls.

DAY 02 - Pinnawala & Kandy
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage setup especially for abandoned and injured elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 miles) northwest of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Its success and fame has travelled not just within the country but throughout the world. Currently being a home to 93 elephants. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2015. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see Elephants close-up.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri Dalada Maligawa is a Buddhist temple located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country

- Visit Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of Tooth Relic in Kandy where Lord Buddha’s Tooth relic is housed. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy

DAY 03 - dambulla & sigiriya
Dambulla Cave Temple
Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country is 72 Km north of Kandy. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. There is a total of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses.
SIGIRIYA
Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located in the Matale District The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high. Sigiriya is treated as one of the most remarkable creations in the world, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). Path through the gardens along Stone stairways come to the Lion Gate. Only the rock carving and the brick structure is evident today of the lion’s mouth through which millions of people have walked to admire the beauty of this magnificent citadel.The capital and the royal palace were abandoned after the king’s death. It was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning.

DAY 04 - polonnaruwa & minneriya
POLONNARUWA
Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s splendid medieval capital was established as the first city of the land in the 11th Century, A.D. It replaced Anuradhapura, which was plundered, made desolate and laid hopelessly bare to the invading armies from South India.Three Kings dominate the chronicles of the city and the period. The city reached a dazzling but pitifully brief zenith in the 12th century and though ravaged by invasion in the centuries that followed, much evidence remains of the old grandeur and glory.The ruins of the ancient city stand on the east shore of a large artificial lake, the Parakrama Samudraya, built by King Parakramabahu I (1153-86), whose reign was Polonnaruwa‘s golden age. Within a rectangle of city walls stand palace buildings and clusters of dozens of dagobas, temples and various other religious buildings
Minneriya National Park
Being part of the elephant corridor, which joins up with Kaudulla and Wasgomuwa parks, Mineriya National Park gives the opportunity to see herds of Elephants throughout the year it is the largest known meeting place of Asian Elephants in the world. During this period herds up to 300 elephants are seen at the 8,890-hectare park. In the afternoon jeep safari through National Park people can also see, deer, peacocks, boars, and many kinds of birds other than Elephants

DAY 05 - Nilaveli & Trincomalee
Trincomalee
Trincomalee is a port city on the northeast coast of Sri Lanka. Set on a peninsula, The Trincomalee Fort also known as Frederick was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Within its grounds, the grand Koneswaram Temple stands on Swami Rock cliff, a popular vantage point for blue-whale watching. The holy complex contains ornate shrines and a massive statue of Shiva.
Naiveli Beach which is one of spectacular beaches in eastern province, also one of the cleanest and purest white sand beaches of Asia the beach is relatively less crowded than most beaches in and makes it ideal to relax.
Famous square shape Hot Springs wells which are around 3–4 feet deep and you can clearly see the bottom the temperature is considerably high but vary from one spring to the other.
The Marble Beach also known as Marble Bay Beach is another fine beach and has some of the most picturesque and scenic beaches found in Sri Lanka

DAY 08 - ANURADHAPURA
Anuradhapura
Anuradhapura is a major city in Sri Lanka and one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient Sinhala civilization. The city is now a World Heritage site, was the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries. The city lies 205 km (127 mi) north of the current capital of Colombo on the banks of the historic Malvathu River. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and one of the eight World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. The ancient city, considered sacred to the Buddhist world, is today surrounded by monasteries covering an area of over 16 square miles (41 km2)

DAY 09 - WILPATTU
Wilpattu National Park
The unique feature of this park is the existence of Natural lakes Natural, sand-rimmed water basins that fill with rainwater. Located in the Northwest coast lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka. The park is located 30 km west Anuradhapura, approximately 180 km north of Colombo. The park is 1,317 square kilometers (131, 693 hectares) and ranges from 0 to 152 meters above sea level.
Wilpattu is among the top national parks world-renowned for its leopard population and there are approximately 30 species of mammals in the Wilpattu National Park which include the Sri Lankan Elephant, Lankan Sloth Bear, Sri, Spotted Deer, Buffalo, Sambar and Mongoose.
The lakes contain rainwater, important for resident and migratory water-birds and many wetland bird species found in the Wilpattu National Park and the park is also home for many Reptiles and Amphibians.
