DAY 01 - Pinnawal & Nuwara Eliya

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage setup especially for abandoned and injured elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 miles) northwest of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Its success and fame have travelled not just within the country but throughout the world. Currently being a home to 93 elephants. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2015. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see Elephants close-up.

Ramboda Falls
Ramboda Falls is 109m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945m above sea level

Activities

  • Meet Infinity Lanka representative at the Airport
  • Transfer to Pinnawala 3 hours’ drive approximately
  • Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
  • Transfer to Nuwaraeliya approximately 100 Km (5 Hours).
  • Visit Ramboda water Falls, Tea factory and Tea Plantations en route
  • Overnight stay in Nuwaraeliya

DAY 02 - nuwara eliya

Nuwaraeliya
The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but it is really just like an English spring day, although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.

Activities

  • Breakfast at the Hotel
  • Visit Sita Amman Temple, Sri Seethai Amman temple is a unique temple it has been made at the place where Seetha Mata spent her days in the prison of Ravana aprox 5000 years ago. It is also unique in a way that it is one of the very few temples dedicated to Seetha
  • This completes the Sri Lanka 02 Days Tour Itinerary (Option-2) with infinity Lanka Tours and depending on the time of your flight, you will be transferred to the airport directly from nuwara eliya.
